The official reopening of the Multnomah County CROPS farm took place on August 27th. The farm, operated by Shantae Johnson and Arthur Shavers of Mudbone Grown, provides food for families in need as well as support for farmers from communities of color. Vega was honored to provide civil design services to Carleton Hart Architecture for this project. Full Oregonian article here.

This Home Forward development in Portland’s Concordia neighborhood added 147 affordable homes to the area, redeveloped 40 units, and includes a community center, outdoor play area, and gardens. Vega collaborated with LEVER Architecture on the design for this 5.3 acre project that is named after a long-time teacher at Albina Head Start. See here for more information.

A local improvement project that Vega contributed to (North Suttle Road LID) with the City of Portland has been nominated for the 2025 Excellence in Concrete Paving & Flatwork Award by the Oregon Concrete & Aggregate Producers Association. Congrats to everyone who worked on this project!
Cedar Rising, an 82-unit affordable housing development in Aloha, Oregon has been awarded Earth Advantage Platinum for its sustainable design. Vega collaborated on this project with Scott Edwards Architecture for BRIDGE Housing.
